A productive heirloom beefsteak tomato of German origin that was brought into circulation by Rick Burkhart if Indiana whose family has raised it for 25 years. Our organic tomato seeds produce big, indeterminate, vigorous, potato-leaf tomato plants that yield abundant crops of 1-pound, juicy tomatoes with little cracking. Considered among the best heirloom tomatoes. Lycopersicon esculentum. Plant produces high yields of 12 to 16 oz deep pink tomatoes. These beefsteak tomatoes are equal or better than the Brandywine tomato. It has the rich tomato flavor everyone is in search of. Mostly smooth in shape and very little cracking.
