Description:
Pick fresh, tasty peas early in the season with this quality, British bred variety. Enjoy trouble-free, bumper crops of Pea Twinkle thanks to its impressive Pea Wilt resistance and Downy Mildew tolerance. Perfect for successional sowing to give longer cropping period. Plants of Pea Twinkle are self-supporting when grown in blocks. Height: 45-55cm (18-22in).
Sowing instructions:
Sow seeds under cloches in February for early crops, or outdoors in March-April, every 10 days. Sow seeds in flat-bottomed drills 5cm (2 inches) apart, 5cm (2 inches) deep and in blocks or rows, 45cm (18 inches) apart.
Growing instructions:
The peas will be ready to harvest around 12-13 weeks from sowing, and regular picking will encourage further cropping. Plants are self supporting when sown in blocks.
Aftercare:
Prefers well-drained, moist, rich conditions

Try out 'Continental Peas' with fried mushrooms, onions and a drop of sherry!
