The Italian bean known as the Romano or borlotti is larger and darker than the pinto bean, ranging in color from beige to brown with some speckling. Its texture is soft. It absorbs the flavors of the other ingredients with which it is cooked.
An old favorite with a very unique, delicious flavor.
Vines are loaded with long, wide-podded stringless green beans.
Tender, meaty and flavorful. Famous as a freezing and canning bean. Pods are medium green, broad and flat.
An excellent all-around bean.
