This variety's yield is heavy. Most bean pods have 3 large seeds in a pod.
Sow seeds in late spring in cold winter climate areas. For warm and mild winter climate areas, sow seeds in fall and harvest in spring.
These sweet, tasty beans are especially prized in China and Japan, where they are parboiled and then stir-fried in oil with garlic. Boil beans and serve cooked as an appetizer or add to salad. Broad beans are extremely high in nutrients, including protein, iron and potassium.
People with Favism should avoid eating this broad bean.

•    Maturity: Approx. 70 days
•    Planting season: Late spring or fall

This variety produces green pods with generally three seeds inside. Large green seeds are very delicious. Seeds are large and heavy, approximate 10 seeds per oz.
Heavy yielding, early and productive even under adverse conditions.
Sowing Instructions:
Broad beans prefer cool temperatures for best growth and development. Sow as early in spring as the soil can be worked in a rich garden soil, or start indoors 6 weeks prior to the last frost date in peat pots. In warm climate areas (Zones 8-10), an 0ctober/ November sowing is preferable for spring-maturing beans. Sow seed 2in deep, 10in apart, in rows 9-10in apart.
Growing Instructions:
Cultivate regularly and pinch the tops of the plant as soon as 4 clusters of blooms are showing. The tops and leaves are tender and can be eaten like spinach with a flavour similar to peas. Harvest when pods are well-filled and seeds still soft, or leave beans to dry and harvest for dried beans.
Height: 30 inches
