A great variety for multiple picking, Maestro is one of the sweetest peas we offer. Long thin pods contain 8-9 medium-sized, tender peas. Plants reach a manageable 22 inches and are resistant to enation and powdery mildew.
The Maestro Shelling Pea is an outstanding shelling pea variety that can be grown just about anywhere due to its excellent adaptability. The hardy 24 to 30 inch vines produce an abundance of doubled up four and a half inch long dark green pods that contain 9 to 11 plump, buttery flavored peas that melt in your mouth! Produces high yields over a very long season and is resistant to mildews and mosaic virus.
Maestro does well in regions where peas typically do poorly and due to its high heat resistance, Maestro Shelling Peas are an excellent choice for gardeners in South West states.
