The Harvester variety of beans has tender pods growing up to 6" long. The pods are high off the ground for easy picking. The plant is very hardy and grows quite upright. Plant and beans are resistant to: Bean Common Mosaic Virus, Bean Rust Virus, and Root rot.

Plant in well drained soil, plants will need plenty of sun. Care: Soil should be well watered but not waterlogged or soggy. Harvesting: Pick Harvester beans frequently, plants will stop producing if beans are left to grow to maturity. Pick them before the beans inside have grown too large. Nutritional Value: A good source of Calcium, folic acid and potassium. Collecting seed: Collect seeds by letting pods dry out on the plant. Open dry pods and take out seeds. Dry beans can be stored in a cool dry place.
