Description: Main crop Pea Endeavour is semi-leafless almost self supporting if grown in a block. Sow April-June to pick July-October. The long double 8 seeded pods of Pea Endeavour have an excellent flavour. Height: 65-70cm (26-28in). Sowing instructions: Sowing time: March to June. Sow seeds thinly, 5cm (2in) deep in drills 45cm (18in) apart in rich, well-drained soil, which has been raked to a fine tilth. Growing instructions: Water ground regularly, especially in dry periods. Provide support by means of twiggy sticks. Aftercare: Water when in flower will improve the cropping. Regular picking will encourage further cropping. Go to table of pea varieties |
