Description:
Wrinkle. New British breeding in small 'petit pois' peas, Pea Celebration produces small dark green peas which hold both their colour and superb taste after freezing. The taste is so good that most of your crop won't even reach the freezer! Plants of Pea Celebration are semi leafless and self-supporting if grown in a block. Height: 50-60cm (20-24in).
Sowing instructions:
Sow seeds March to June, in the open ground from late winter through to early summer, or under cloches from autumn through to late winter 5cm (2in) deep, 23cm (9in) apart in rows 30cm (12in) apart.
Growing instructions:
Any fertile, well drained soil is ideal. Provide twiggy sticks for support, and water freely when in flower to induce cropping.
