CDC Rouleau is a small-seeded variety of lentil with a red cotyledon color. Maturity is medium and plant height is tall. CDC Rouleau also has an excellent disease package with good resistance to Ascochyta blight as well as to Anthracnose Race 1. Like CDC Redberry, CDC Rouleau is high yielding, but will probably prove more consistent in northern areas due to its later maturity. CDC Rouleau is a 2004 release with similar seed traits to Crimson. It has a grey seed coat and good resistance to ascochyta. Rouleau is another later maturity variety with very high yield potential, much like Richlea. • Days to flower: 52 • Plant height: 33 cm • Seed weight: 37 g 1000 • Yield: 1323 pounds per acre • Days to maturity: 92 Go to table of lentil varieties |
