CDC Glamis is a high-yielding, yellow cotyledon lentil cultivar developed in 1998 by the Crop Development Centre, University of Saskatchewan. It is intended for cultivation in all lentil production areas of western Canada. It has large seeds with green seed coat and is suitable for the large green market class of lentil. CDC Glamis is an ascochyta blight resistant. It is a large-seeded Chilean type lentil to replace Laird. CDC Glamis has out-yielded Laird in trials. It has a slightly smaller seed than Laird which may present a marketing problem in some countries. • Yield: 1502 kg ha–1 • Days to flower: 61 • Days to maturity: 97 • Plant height: 41 cm • Seed weight: 64 g 1000–1 Go to table of lentil varieties |
